Privacy Policy

The short version

LunaFile is a file conversion website. You upload a file, we process it, you download the result, and we delete everything within an hour. We never look at your files, never sell them, and never use them to train anything.

Files you upload

• Files are uploaded over HTTPS (TLS-encrypted in transit).
• Files are stored on Cloudflare R2 with a randomized UUID filename — never your original filename.
• Files are scheduled for automatic deletion 1 hour after processing. There is no manual review process.
• We never inspect, read, or extract content from your files for any purpose other than running the conversion you requested.
• We never share your files with third parties. We never train AI on them.

What we collect

We collect the minimum needed to keep the site running:

• Server logs that include your IP address, user agent, and the tool you used. These are kept for at most 30 days for abuse prevention.
• Aggregated usage counts (how many people used each tool) for capacity planning. No personal data attached.

We do not require an account, an email address, or a credit card.

Cookies and analytics

LunaFile does not use first-party cookies. If we display ads via Google AdSense, Google may set its own cookies — see Google's privacy policy for details. You can disable personalized ads in your Google account settings.

Third parties

• Vercel — hosts the website frontend.
• Railway — hosts the file processing server.
• Cloudflare — DNS and R2 storage for temporary files.
• Google AdSense — serves ads on the homepage and tool pages.
